The 2wd bikes bikes are complete now. We took a large 60cm frame leg and arm cycle to photograph for the website. This is the best arm bike we have made to date and looks slick, quality and quick! The matte black finish has a really nice satin look and feel to it.

The session was on a super tight schedule as we need to get this leg and arm 2wd cycle repacked and all Twicycles moved to the fulfilment agency in the next couple of days.

It will be a few weeks to get everything ready in the back end to start selling our awd bicycle to customers who have been eagerly awaiting their arrival for the last few years.

Packaging is moving along with each bike for arms and legs going through a very complex packaging procedure making sure it survives the rough ride the couriers are bound to give it. Everything must be snug inside without moving around so we use numerous inserts and wrapping to keep it all in place and away from being hit.

Minimal assembly will be needed by customers (re-attach derailleurs, pedals, wheels… the usual suspects)

We had some delays with box manufacturers making the wrong size boxes for us. The new boxes are slightly bigger at 119x27x81cm.

Assembly on our v2 AWD bicycle is moving along nicely. Each part is being thoroughly checked and adjusted.

The new version features shifters on hand cycling handles, making it even easier to shift gears whilst spinning the hand cycles. On the previous version you had to stop arm cycling briefly to change gears. The new system will make the shifting mechanism more durable too.

The new 2wd bicycle has many other improvements which will make your arm cycle exercise even more enjoyable and fun.

After several years of worldwide bike parts shortages (caused by Covid onslaught of large companies ordering 4x the parts that year), we finally got our turn and sourced parts for our V2 leg and arm cycles. The leg and arm cycles are being assembled in UK with strict quality control and should be ready in limited quantity mid August. They will also ship from UK only this time.

Anyone who has previously inquired to buy one when it was out of stock will be notified first in case they still want to order before it goes public.

The full body bikes are about to begin their first epic journey, across the ocean! They will be sailing out in 3 days.

We plan on getting our arm cycles delivered as soon as they arrive in the distribution centers, which is expected to be the second half of Jan 2018.

We’ll incrementally be raising the price of the full body bikes in the coming weeks as there will be fewer and fewer available for pre-orders while they sail over to us. Once they arrive here, they will be priced at full retail.

Just an update on the latest from Taiwan.

In the last 2 weeks, we decided to change the assemblers for our bike for arms and legs as the original ones wasted so much of our time, and we were not sure of when they would start the assembly.

We want to make the best arm bike possible so we concluded our dealings with them and have moved the parts to the new factory since.

The new factory has started work on the our innovative 2 wheel hand cycles, arranging all parts for production and double checking everything.

We’ll have the pictures soon.

All of the components for our leg and hand bike have been ready for some time and are awaiting assembly. What has been holding us back lately are the assemblers. They have not committed to a date and have not started the assembly yet. (They are a massive company assembling for brands that order quantities 100 times more than us and we don’t seem to be their priority.)

We spent considerable time and effort trying to push and get them to move forward.

Fearing that this could drag on, we also decided to open talks with alternative assembler simultaneously and we worked with them on how to assemble our unusual bike with hand pedals so that we have a backup factory ready who knows how to make the bicycle with hand pedals correctly. The good news is that they have also successfully made the sample hand pedal cycle.

We are at the same time now trying to get a schedule from them so that we can choose the earliest of the two.

We are not sitting idly, waiting for things to solve themselves or delaying anything. We are working as hard as we can to get this completed and get this leg and hand pedaled bike to the streets ASAP.

Good news!

The frames for our 2wd bikes have been repainted as of today and they look great! See images below.

We are now waiting for confirmation of assembly date for our all wheel drive bicycle. We are pushing for next week.
